Semantic MediaWiki
There are 1 incomplete or pending task to finish installation of Semantic MediaWiki. An administrator or user with sufficient rights can complete it. This should be done before adding new data to avoid inconsistencies.1. Introduction
At power-up or after a reset (CHIP_EN Low), it is possible to select the boot mode of the ST67W611M1 module thanks to the bootstrap pins (BOOT and CHIP_EN).
2. BOOT hardware implementation
BOOT is a 3.3 V signal that must be connected directly to the Host controlling the ST67W611M1 module.
3. Bootstrap modes
The ST67W611M1 module has two boot modes:
- SPI mode: This is the functional boot mode. The ROM boot loader loads and executes the program from SPI Flash to boot the system.
- UART mode: This mode is used to download/update the module's firmware binary through UART into the flash. It is also the mode that is used to run the RF tool for RF performance checks using the manufacturing firmware binary.
The table below shows BOOT/CHIP_EN configuration to enter the desired boot mode.
BOOT | CHIP_EN | Boot mode |
---|---|---|
High | Low to High | UART mode |
Low | Low to High | SPI mode |
