STM32 Sniffer for Bluetooth® LE

The STM32 Sniffer for Bluetooth® LE allows you to learn, analyze and debug Bluetooth® LE communications.

You will be able to listen to advertising packets or follow communications between a device and the device it is communicating with. In case devices start pairing, it may even be possible to decrypt the packets.

The sniffer firmware is compatible with two development boards :

The STM32 Sniffer for Bluetooth® Low Energy is composed of two main parts.

  • The software part running on the computer: captures, analyzes and displays packets
  • The firmware part running on the STM32WB MCU: intercepts over the air packets
