The National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program (CAVP) provides validation testing of Approved (i.e., FIPS-approved and NIST-recommended) cryptographic algorithms and their individual components. Cryptographic algorithm validation is a prerequisite of cryptographic module validation. [1]

All the provided Cryptographic Libraries have been validated through the Cryptographic Algorithm Validation Program.

1. Certification method

The libraries have been certified using the smallest and fastest configurations provided by files cmox_small_config.h and cmox_fast_config.h (respectively described as the size and speed versions on the NIST ACVP portal).
