This article explains how to use the Remote System Explorer Eclipse Perspective with STM32CubeIDE.

1 RSE Perspective set-up[edit]

RSE is implemented in a dedicated Eclipse perspective that you have to open:

  • Go to Window -> Perspective -> Open Perspective -> Other...
  • Choose Remote System Explorer

2 Automatic RSE Connection[edit]

After launching a first Debug Configuration in Production Mode' via network, a ready-to-use RSE connection is created: MPU Target.

RSE has been set up.

The Sftp Files directory gives access to the remote file system. The Ssh Shells provide an interface handling remote shell.
